The 2025 local election cycle wrapped up in early June. From Beaumont to Amarillo, from Alice to Dallas, REALTORS®’ grassroots engagement and TREPAC support made the difference—sometimes by just a few votes. TREPAC supported dozens of candidates in cities and towns of all sizes, and some candidates were Texas REALTORS® themselves!
Members came out especially strong to push fellow Texas REALTORS® like Bill Roth (Dallas City Council, Place 11), Sukh Kahr (San Antonio City Council, District 1), Bill Cox (Mayor of McKinney), and Candy Cargill (Mayor of Blanco) across the finish line to victory!

Why has TREPAC only endorsed Republicans?
I have always noticed this too. I vote for people, not parties and frankly, wish the parties would just go away. I don’t always agree with all TREPAC endorsed candidates so vote on my own.
I think they lean right because historically Republicans fight for land and private property rights, but our political landscape is ever-changing.
